A full studio recording session, for solo acts, duo's, trio's and small bands with full use of all the equipment listed on the home page. Sessions start from 9.00am until 20.00pm. These sessions are aimed at acts recording their own music and not using backing tracks. Prices are £25 per hour with £200 cash deposit required. Price includes an engineer, any unused hours are refunded at the end of the session or can be used at a later date on remixing, overdubs etc. Full studio sessions need to booked at least 2 weeks in advance of the dates required to secure availability.
We can offer our clients access to numerous first class musicians from our database, prices are negotiated between yourself and the session player, we take no cuts or commision.

If 8 hours is to much time, we can offer fill in sessions at short notice, from an hour session upwards. Bring your own track or record with our some of our first class session musicians, prices start from £20 per hour.

Using our Fostex LR16 system, we travel to your venue, rehearsal room or even to your home and record your session with up to 16 tracks. In a live situation we can either mix the sound, send it to your PA speakers and record it at the same time or we can take feeds from your mixer, using the splitters we provide and leave you to mix the live sound to let us concentrate on the recording of the show. Your recording can then be mastered back at out studio or at an extra cost be transferred directly onto CD's for you to sell after your show. Prices start from £250 within a 30 mile radius of our postcode and include a 2 hour mastering session at our studio, should you wish. Our sister company SPL Audio Services are also able to supply you with both a PA system and lighting rig, if required. Please call for a more accurate quote, depending upon your requirements. 

Fancy being a pop star for a day? Great for both kids and adults, record a pre-arranged song by yourself or with a couple of friends, have a few hours in the studio and leave with a copy of the song on a CD, complete with full cover and case, great for gifts. Simply choose which song you would like to record, from our extensive collection, or one of your own, have a few practises at home, then on the day of your recording, bring your track, if using your own and we'll have a practise in the studio, maybe a couple, as we try and relax you, after which we will record you and your friends. If you are not happy, we will have another go, finally we present you with a copy of your recording on a printed CD, complete with cover. We'll also get you to sign our guestbook, just in case, you never know!!!

Kids Popstar parties, a different birthday experience, for up to 5 kids with adult supervision. Arrive at Studio 13 and have a quick look around, then we take some pictures of you and your friends posing with guitars, mics etc for the CD cover. We then go into the studio and have a mess around with the studio effects, making you sound like the "chipmunks" or "Darth Vader", we then record the song or songs, have a break and a drink whilst the engineer produces your CD, back up to the studio for a listen and then when everyone's happy, you all leave with a copy of the CD with full cover and the birthday star gets the disc with all the pictures on to show their friends what a great party they had.

Dj's are more than welcome to come and have a mixing session that we will record for them, full or part sessions available. We can supply turntables, mixers and CD players, but please feel free to bring your preferred equipment.
Full use of the studio drum machines and sequencers etc. is included in the price. Sessions available from 9.00am until 20.00pm. Priced at £25 per hour including fully mastered CD inc. printed or "white" label.

Here at Studio 13 we have the facilities to copy all your old records and cassette tapes and reproduce them onto a CD or copy them onto your MP3 player. Where possible we can also supply the cover artwork for the CD case, where not, plain or titled artwork shall be provided. Simply call us to arrange a drop off time for your collection, allow us a reasonable time scale, remembering that old media can only be copied in real time, for example a C60 cassette takes 60 minutes to copy, then we will call you to arrange collection of both your original material and your new copies.
One to one vinyl copies are priced at £10 per LP, £5 per single (both sides)
One to one cassette copies are priced at £7 for a C45,  £8 for a C60,  £10 for a C90,  £12 for a C120
Discounts are available on bulk copies and on none 1 to 1 copies, where for example, 2 cassette or vinyl recordings will fit onto 1 CD or 3 will fit onto 2 CD's etc.
Whilst modern computer programs can reduce tape hiss and certain surface noise and small scratches found on some vinyl recordings it should be noted that certain faults on original recordings such as tape "drop out" and major scratches to vinyl cannot be rectfied
